I just love this picture.

Stay tuned for much more, at some point I will be able to escape from the pile of work that has buried me!
Amidst a mile high pile of work, I had the privilege of hanging out with the Riffes. Talk about a fun family!! It’s so refreshing to see a family who overflow with joy, they just really really love being around each other. Blessings abound! Here’s just a little peek at my afternoon with them…

Sizzlin

Whitney brought her boyfriend along for some pics, they’re too cute.

Thanks for playing with me, Riffe family!
Darren was the first of my Seniors for 2011. It’s so fun to be able to focus all of your photo attention on just one person! We trekked around Downtown KC, the Plaza, and Liberty Memorial chatting about this, that, and what’s next. He’s planning to go into the medical profession, so this guy’s got a lot of school ahead of him! He’s bright enough that he’ll have absolutely no trouble flying through it!

What a charmer!
Thanks for hanging out with me, Darren! It was great to get to know you better. Have fun with your Senior year!!
I enjoyed spending a brisk, windy Saturday morning with the Evans family. You may recognize lovely Erin from the Goddess photo shoot we did a few months ago. We had so much fun, I just couldn’t wait to get to capture a few moments with her family. It goes without saying that this is one special family.

Now these are some pretty spectacular kids. Not only are the incredibly cute, but they are seriously best friends. I nearly cried when I saw these next ones…I hope that my kids can be as close as these two!!

They think their brother is the best!

And yet another couple who very clearly love to live for each other. I love it when that sweet adoration comes through without a word.

Does it get more fun than that? I don’t think so.
Thanks for playing with me, Evans family!! You’re so stinking cute!
This past weekend we were blessed to have been able to take a trip to Omaha to take our little princess to the zoo (more on that later!). When we started planning this trip, a friend of mine from when I was little commented on my Facebook saying that she would love to go with us. So glad we did! We had a blast with Rochelle and her sweet little girl, Evelynn. Even better, the next morning we had the opportunity to take a few pictures of this cute little one year old!

She was cracking me up! She had these three tennis balls that she was bound and determined to hold at the same time. All of them. She succeeded a few times.

What a cutie!! Thank you so much, Rochelle and Evelynn, for being our tour guides at the zoo and for playing at the park with us!? You’re so fun!
I had never met any of these incredible gals before. They had booked me through a friend and we were to meet each other sight unseen. I walked into the Starbucks where I met them, with my gear very apparent so they could spot me when I arrived. When they waved at me from across the room, the first thought in my head was…”Jackpot”. Every single one of these ladies was absolutely beautiful, and their super incredible friendship was SO evident. This is going to be fun…and it was!

“The Goddesses” have been besties for a long time, some from high school, and a few more added on in college. When people talk about “BFFs”…this is what they’re talking about.

Oh Behave!!

They didn’t have any drama amongst them…which is such a blessing in a group of girls who have been friends as long as these five have. Who would have thought that could happen!
Sooo….we had to create some drama with some wicked lighting and stunning glares. Love.It.

Honestly, sessions like this make me unable to call what I do “work”. It’s way too stinking fun.

Ladies, thank you SO SO much for letting me spend the day with you! I seriously want to become an honorary Goddess.
